Bachelor's Michelle Moneys daughter Brielle passes online courses after being in coma following s

BACHELOR star Michelle Money was rightfully proud of her 15-year-old daughter Brielle on Instagram for acing a math test.

It comes after the teen was fighting for her life in a coma following a skate-boarding accident, earlier this year.

“This kid aced her math course online that she had to make up since she was in the hospital!” the reality star, 38, captioned an Instagram Story video of the teenager holding a box of Nike tennis shoes.

“So proud of her! She is doing so awesome!”

The Utah native joked from behind the camera: “Sorry to interrupt your make-out with your shoes.”

Michelle, who appeared on the 15th season of the ABC series, took to Instagram to update her followers from the hospital about how Brielle was doing at the time of her accident in March.

Doctors placed her in a medically induced coma, and took her to surgery to remove fluid from her head which was causing pressure on her brain.

The hospital would only allow one parent at a time to stay with Brielle because of fears over the coronavirus.

Brielle's dad, Ryan Money, was forced to wait in the car.

"It's really hard to be alone during something like this," explained Michelle.

Brielle was released from the hospital 26 days after she was placed in a coma following a devastating skateboarding accident.

Michelle explained that the experience had given the 15-year-old "a whole new outlook on life."

Michelle wrote: "What Brielle has accomplished since she woke up from her coma is absolutely mind blowing.

"Her ability to push through the pain and frustration of relearning how to walk, talk, eat, drink, get dressed, shower, brush her teeth etc. is beyond impressive to watch as her mother."

She continued: "Bri’s speech therapist told us that in the 6 years she has been working, she has never seen a kid recover as fast as Bri has.

"I am incredibly grateful for her speedy recovery yet I know we have a long road still ahead of us.

"This girl is a fighter. She is a warrior. She is going to do amazing things with her life!"

The mom-of-one went on to thank fans for "all your love, support and prayers."

She added: "You will never understand what it has meant to us. Never. As I try to explain all of this to Brielle, she is slowly starting to realize what has actually happened the last month.

"It’s a lot to process but she is very grateful for all of you!

"She does not want to be remembered for this but I think we all know she has a big purpose here that will far surpass the memory of this accident.

"I am forever grateful she gets the opportunity to experience all this amazing life has to offer her!"

She continued: "As she gave me her permission to share this picture, I want to thank you for respecting our privacy and allowing us to process all of this on our own time. Looking forward to a new and beautiful life with this kid. She is my hero. #BrielleStrong."

Brielle was placed on life support at the end of March with Michelle sharing a photo of the teenager in intensive care and explaining that Brielle suffered a fractured skull and “serious brain trauma” after she fell off her skateboard without a helmet on.

“She suffered a serious brain trauma and a fractured skull. She is in a medically induced coma to relieve pressure in her brain."

She spent the next few weeks updating fans on her recovery, before revealing that she would be taking a break from social media and no longer updating her page as she focuses her energy on the 15-year-old, admitting that Brielle's story is now the teen's to tell.
