A MOTHER has revealed that she has found the best place for a cheap, fun, family day out.

So if you don’t know what to do with your kids this half term, and are looking for a great place to spend the day without leaving a hole in your purse, we’ve got just what you need.

Roxsanne took her sons to Guildford Spectrum, a brilliant leisure pool with eight amazing water slides, a crazy wave machine and an interactive children’s section.

The savvy mum took to social media to show off her budget day out, as she said: “Save this, and add it to your list! Water fun for less than £10.

“Now here’s some indoor water fun that’s perfect for the whole family.

“There are some really fun slides here and a play area for little ones.

“Overall, it was relatively clean, but definitely bring some wet shoes when you’re going.

“We had a lot of fun.”

Roxsanne then added: “It was definitely good value for money.

“Kids under the age of three go FREE, and family tickets are £30 (one ddult and three children).

“The pool was a good temperature, and the family changing room was relatively clean considering we visited towards the end of the day.

“We also noticed that towards closing time it was also quieter. So keep this in mind for when you visit.”

In the short clip, we saw Roxsanne’s son having a fabulous time, as he enjoyed the play area and went shooting down the water slides.

Roxsanne later confirmed that tickets for children aged between three and 15 will cost £7.88, whilst a single adult ticket is £10.50.

She confirmed that there is free parking at the Guildford location and later wrote: “We will definitely be back! We loved it.”

If you fancy taking a trip to this leisure pool, to avoid disappointment, Guildford Spectrum advise that you pre-book your session online before visiting.

Sessions last for 90 minutes and there’s even a flume which is in complete darkness, so if your little one is a thrill seeker, this place will be perfect for you.

Not only this, but there’s also interactive water features, from tipping buckets, spinning wheels and sprays for them to enjoy.

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @meetthesonsfamily, has clearly left many stunned, as it has quickly amassed 26,200 views.

Social media users were impressed at the cheap day out and many took to the comments to express this.

One person said: “Looks nice and quiet.”

Another added: “Best for the kids.”

Meanwhile, someone else asked: “How's the water? Is it cold?”

To this, Roxsanne confirmed: “It wasn’t too bad, once you [get] out of the water you do feel quite cold. But the changing rooms are warm.”

At the same time, another parent questioned: “Is the water deep?”
