A third man in his 30s was raced to hospital in critical condition and has since died, the force said.

Chief Inspector Imran Asghar of the South Area BCU said that the three men who died were understood to be Polish nationals.

Later in the evening, two more men presented themselves to hospital with one suffering life-threatening injuries.

One remains in a life-threatening condition, while the other been discharged.

Chief Inspector Asghar said that the pair who attended hospital were also believed to be Polish nationals.

However, cops said they are still working to confirm who they are and inform their families.
