There are many sides to Emily VanCamp, star of ABC's hit series Revenge.

In the November issue of GQ, it's the actress' sexy, flirty side that takes center stage. In one picture, the 26-year-old wears a lacy black bra and tugs at her cherry red cardigan while playing with two squirt guns. For the self-proclaimed tomboy — and avid fisherwoman — the photo shoot was quite a departure from her everyday life.

"I did ballet, which taught me how to be poised and graceful, but still, to this day I'd rather be fishing than going to some glamorous party," she explains. "It's so therapeutic."

Getting dolled up to play the scheming Emily Thorne/Amanda Clarke is another way VanCamp is able to step outside of herself. "I always feel like I'm playing a character when I'm in a beautiful dress, with my hair coiffed. I like getting down and dirty. It's really fun," she tells the magazine. "There's nothing better than setting an a–hole's house on fire. It's those moments when I think, 'I love my job!'"

In a rare instance, VanCamp also opens up about her boyfriend and Revenge costar, Josh Bowman, 24. "I don't really ever talk about that part of my life, but I'm also not going to stop living my life. I want to live happily. And if I love a person, I'm not going to be ashamed and hide it."

Though she's currently based in L.A., VanCamp tells GQ she hopes to one day live in her native Canada full-time. "I miss it a lot. It's so quaint," the actress says. "I could see myself moving back. It's just so mellow."
