Note to all fantasy football players: Do NOT draft Odell Beckham Jr. next season.

We know, we know: he made arguably the greatest catch in NFL history.

He also tied a league record by recording at least 90 receiving yards in nine straight games.

But Beckham has now landed the cover of Madden 2016… and we all know what happens to Madden 2016 cover players, don’t we?

Beckham – who earned 52.5% of the fan vote in order to edge out Rob Gronkowski – better now hope he doesn’t suffer the same injury or disappointing fate as past Madden cover subjects such as Peyton Hillis, Shaun Alexander, Vince Young and Adrian Peterson.

Heck, Richard Sherman covered last year’s edition and then injured his elbow before losing the Super Bowl in heart-breaking fashion.
